Once all my testing is complete, and I know exactly what I need to do, and how much time it will take, I might ask. My computer works fine for the jobs I do for my business, ROX just seems to take it over the edge, so to speak. A compatible dual core processor is around $850, ram is around $100, labor is free of course :) I just don't like feeling like a beggar, I think u can understand that B.

A dual core would help significantly, I can tell the speed is not the limiting factor, it's the bandwidth. I don't have a degree in computer science, but theoretically a dual core with the same speed would cut the speed of rendering by nearly half. Wouldn't you think?

Yeah, crunching big video files does take a while. I'm not sure how much of a difference an upgrade would really make, but don't be shy about asking for funds!
